Summer Learning Journey Activity 3 : Dear Jacinda

I would like Jacinda Ardern to talk more about the bad news and the good news that is happening around the world. She is really confident when she talks in front of a whole crowd. Jacinda Ardern is the current Prime Minister. Before she makes decisions she meets with many people. Jacinda Ardern is the second youngest person and the second woman ever to be elected PM of NZ. She is a really good person to talk to. It could be something serious to do with education, health or welfare. New Zealand was lucky to get a new Prime Minister.

  1. Hey Tangi!

Congrats on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity! Awesome work about Jacinda Ardern! I also agree that she should talk more about global problems! If you were Prime Minister, what would you do differently than what Mrs Adern is doing?

    Keep up the awesome work!

  2. Kia ora Tangimetua,

Congratulations on completing another activity! You're doing a great job getting through so many - well done! :)

You've shared some great information about Jacinda Ardern and how she works to better our country and the lives of those who live in it. She really is a wonderful Prime Minister. However, if you go back to the Summer Learning Journey website and have another read of the instructions for this activity, it asks you to write a letter to Jacinda about an issue that's important to you. If you can't think of anything we've provided a small list of suggestions. Have another go at this activity and I'll check back in soon to read it. :)

Thanks Tangimetua. Have a great day.

  3. Hej Tangimetua,

I think this activity was about writing Jacinda a letter about something you are concerned with. With that out of the way, well done on writing about what Jacinda Ardern does and a bit of her family life.

What would your letter to her be about?

    Looking forward to your response,
    Riiana
